First impressions

My first view of this book is gory and bloody but once you start reading it it's actually not a bad book. It starts out with his life before he "lost it." It's told in a first person view and so far the most vulgar thing so far was him describing a sex scene with his wife and some cussing. I'm really looking forward to the blood and guts, the sooner the better.

Reasoning

The book I chose is titled "American Psycho." It is a psychological thriller and satirical novel by Bret Easton Ellis. I chose this book because simply of the fact that is a bloody, gory, sexual book that was banned. In Australia and New Zealand the book is considered R18 which means it may not be sold to anybody under 18 years of age. In Germany it was deemed harmful to minors and its sales were severely restricted from 1995 to 2000: and they eventually made a movie of it.

the chosen one

After debating and asking opinions I have completely ignored all of them and chosen a book titled "American Psycho" lol I am waiting for it in the mail and I intend to finish this one out.

MEIN KAMPF

The book is titled "Mein Kampf" which in english translates into "My Struggle." Many people believe that a book by him would be sort of like a writing by a madman but in fact he had well thought out, comprehensive, and logical thoughts; granted he went about his ideas the wrong way. If someone were to ask me who I would like to meet I would say Hitler, because in many ways he is a brilliant mind, once you get past the fact of how he went about his ideas. I am almost envious of his mind in the way that when he set his mind to something he really set his mind to it and went right after it.
