Reasoning
The book I chose is titled "American Psycho." It is a psychological thriller and satirical novel by Bret Easton Ellis. I chose this book because simply of the fact that is a bloody, gory, sexual book that was banned. In Australia and New Zealand the book is considered R18 which means it may not be sold to anybody under 18 years of age. In Germany it was deemed harmful to minors and its sales were severely restricted from 1995 to 2000: and they eventually made a movie of it.

I saw the movie. It was pretty messed up. Have you seen the movie? If so, is the book anything like the movie or is it somewhat different?

ReplyDeleteHow are you doing with this book? Does it live up to the "gore" label or is a well written story of horror?
The first parts of the book so far arn't gory it's actually a good story about his life before everything happened.
